Switzerland Family Photographer: Bürgenstock Vacation Portraits
This vacation photography session was taken a few years back in Bürgenstock area in Luzern, Switzerland. The family were looking for a Switzerland family photographer to document their stay in this beautiful swiss mountain resort and contacted me to take relaxed natural looking family portraits, framed by the typical countryside views.
This year most of us have spent more time at home than traveling. Have you also done some house or business work that hasn’t been a priority before? I have redesigned my website and am really determined to start blogging again and finally sharing many of the family photography sessions archived on my hard drives.

We spent the morning together exploring the area around, all of us admiring the views, greeting local cows and visiting the famous chapel where Audrey Hepburn got married.
Buergenstock hotel has the most beautiful panoramic terrace, overlooking the lake of Lucerne and luscious green countryside, framed with the mountains.
The area boasts with plenty of walks I am looking forward to try out myself this summer. Yellow post signs and post buses are so typical in Switzerland. And so well organized!
If you are planning your holiday in Switzerland anytime soon, drop me a line. I am based in Lugano, but I also cover Luzern and Zurich areas, too!
Family Portraits
Family photography session for four siblings
I love traveling for work. It's always exciting to meet new families in new places. There is a certain pressure to produce great work without having met the family beforehand, in a new environment with a limit of time. Add in unfavorable weather conditions and it’s what I had for this family session in London.
As it started raining when I arrived, we started shooting indoors and the most important image without a doubt, is the portrait of all four siblings.
After the official part the drizzle stopped and we got out to have some fun and climb the trees, for a documentary storytelling part of the session.
Family lunch event photography Lugano
Beautifully styled cosy and festive family lunch
I love family get together's. This was a lovely format, too. I'd got invited to capture storytelling images from a family lunch, they do it every year. I had photographed the family before a few times for various occasions and it was lovely to capture also grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all together. Before I prepare a longer blog post, please have a look at the beautiful set up!
And isn't it lovely to see your photography albums on display around the house? I love the choice of cover colors the mom made, perfectly complementing the interior of their stunning home.
Family storytelling photography: window as a prop
I started photographing this family back in the early days of my photography journey. We make sure we meet once a year, always in summer, always the same location. And always at least a couple of moments captured on the window. It's become a tradition. So powerful to be the photographer, to be part of a family tradition.
Fotografa Lugano: Fall Family Photography Sessions
A little overview of what I've been up to for the last couple of weeks. Autumn in Ticino is the best for family photography. It's still warm, colors are gorgeous and as a photographer, I swear by autumn light in Lugano. I've been running a few sets of Fall Portrait Days (also known as mini sessions) in October. November will be concentrated on custom tailored family sessions.
